Carter Truck Driving School's CDL training courses are open to everyone (tuition reimbursement, certificate and job placement)
Launch Your CDL Career with Hands-On Training
CrossPurpose has partnered with Carter Truck Driving Academy to offer Class A CDL training to kick-start your truck driving career. The training course is a 4-week course that provides hands-on experience and certification. CDL certified drivers are in high demand nationwide, especially in fields such as transportation, construction, and waste management.

Why Enroll in CDL A Training?
The U.S. currently faces over one million open trucking jobs. With rising demand, CDL drivers have access to a wide range of positions across over-the-road, local, long-haul, and freight hauling routes. On average, truck drivers earn a median salary of $49 per hour, with many companies offering hiring bonuses.
CrossPurpose’s partnership with Carter Truck Driving Academy ensures you gain the skills necessary to obtain a Class A CDL, which is one of the most in-demand certifications in the trucking industry.
About the CDL A Training Program
This program includes:
• Personal and Professional Development (3 weeks)
• Training in interviewing, resume building, financial health, mindset growth, customer relations, team building, and more.
After completing the development course, you’ll proceed to the hands-on CDL training, where you will learn to drive via simulators and in-field driving exercises. The training also includes defensive driving techniques to ensure safety on the road.
Upon Course Completion
After completing the training, you’ll be ready to:
• Transport various goods and freight
• Perform pre- and post-trip inspections
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues
• Ensure compliance with DOT CDL requirements
• Maintain logs of vehicle conditions and delivery paperwork
• Follow safety regulations
What You Can Do with Your Certification
You can meet with top trucking companies at recruitment days and get offers from the best truck driving companies in the industry for the highest paying positions. Your Class A CDL certification allows you to operate heavy-duty trucks (GVWR of 26,001 pounds or more) and haul trailers (10,000 pounds and over). It also allows interstate travel and cross-state deliveries. You can also add specialized endorsements (e.g., hazmat transportation), often covered by employers.
With a CDL certification, you can pursue roles such as:
• Truck Driver
• Bus Driver
• Material Mover
• Water Transport Worker
• Delivery Driver
